Helper Bears proudly introduces a program that connects older adults with technology, offering a range of services designed to boost social connections and empower them to engage with modern communication tools.
Through TheHelperBears.com, we provide a custom curriculum, in-person workshops, online classes, one-on-one sessions, and tech training for employees. It is an ongoing initiative that is designed to increase the rate of social connection in older adults, empowering them and fostering participation in evolving ways of communication.
Violet Sudol, the founder of Helper Bears, also leads The Neighbor Project, an initiative dedicated to reducing loneliness and isolation by organizing community events in Englewood and nearby towns, while supporting the local economy.
Both initiatives aim to improve the lives of older adults by ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities needed to stay connected, healthy, and fulfilled. To achieve their goals we proudly partner with The Community Chest of Englewood and Age-Friendly Englewood, working together to support aging in place and build a more connected community.
