About the Founder

I’m Violetta Sudol, and I founded Helper Bears with one goal in mind: to help people.

My dream was to build a company that would help others better their lives. I’ve always had a gift for connecting people with jobs that match their unique talents and personalities, and, since college, I’ve provided this service pro bono for family, friends, and others in my community.

Now I’ve turned my passion into a career, leveraging my management experience and background to match skilled domestic staff with their ideal roles. In turn, I can provide busy families with the help they need to live their most fulfilling lives.

I was born in Poland, and deeply value my roots in the Polish community. After my parents moved to the United States, I witnessed the sacrifices they made to provide a better life for me—including working several jobs to make ends meet. The language barrier was just one challenge my parents and others like them had to overcome to find reliable and sustainable work.

My parents worked in the field of domestic care, and I understood from an early age how domestic roles can benefit family dynamics. These individuals—from nannies to housekeepers to personal drivers—are often integral to a peaceful and stress-free household. The bond between families and domestic workers cannot be underestimated, and it begins with a relationship built on trust and authentic connection. Thus, my focus has always been on bringing the right people together. We all know it takes a village!

I learned a great deal from my family’s successful relationships with their employers and others in the community, and I knew that applying my own talent for relationship-building could help others find genuine and rewarding connections.

During college and graduate school, I started out by helping family and friends find positions in households that needed an extra hand, and with families that valued their skills. I never asked for compensation. That passion for service became the foundation for my career.

I went on to earn my MBA in healthcare management and worked for over 10 years in my field, staffing and managing roles in hospitals and nursing homes. My experience has enabled me to help hundreds of people in my community find work and education at no cost to them, while also helping hundreds of households find their perfect match.
